City & Colour - Bring Me Your Love

City & Colour is an Acoustic project for Dallas Green from Canada.

This is the second album from City & Colour. This album is different from the first one in the sense that i found the first album easy to jump straight into where as this once I found hard to like at first. If you have heard the first album "Sometimes" this album will appear slow to start with. But once you have given this album time to grow on you it becomes a masterpiece, it easily out does the first album. I believe you can see and appreciate the lyrics more in this album than the first, the songs seem more meaningful and from the heart where as the first album seems more mainstream after listening to this one. The warm guitar and simplicity in the production of this album goes perfectly with the smoothness of Dallas's Voice. This album is much better as an all round album, none of the songs you feel like you need to skip when going through it. Apart from the unreleased recording of Neil Young's "Cowgirl In The Sand" I think this album contains the best song to date to. This from my point of view is The Girl. If your looking for an album thats easy listening, relaxing and meaningful this album is for you!

Four Year Strong - Rise or Die Trying

Four Year Strong are a Pop Punk band from Worcester, MASSACHUSETTS, United States.

Their latest title is called "Rise or Die Trying" this is their second
major album but they also have some older E.P's which are worth
checking out. This album differs in style to the predessesors as it become
more main stream than before. This gives a more melodic f
eel to the music
as it feels like it could fit into the charts with its catchy chants and riffs.
Although the whole album is put well together some of the songs take some
time before you get to fully appreciate them. Overall, personally i love this album
since ive given it time to grow on me its become one of my favorite albums at the
moment. I'd highly recommened this to anybody especially for fans of Pop Punk and
bands such as New Found Glory and Set Your Goals.
